Meet John

Hello!

My career historically was focused on manufacturing planning and logistics. For the last 5 years I have been focused on raising my children and running the family home. Whilst doing this I wanted to use the skills I have gained in my career and also support and develop my local community. Being a Trustee Director at Egerton Nursery affords me this opportunity and I am also Secretary of Egerton Primary School PTA, delivering successful events and fundraising campaigns. I have volunteered at Urban Outreach helping with the sorting and packing of food for the most needy. I have also spent time volunteering at Egerton Primary School, assisting the teacher in things such as one to one reading, looking at Mathematical problems in small groups and helping individual students with various tasks.

I am a keen triathlete and passionate about continuing to improve my fitness. My recent significant achievement was completing the Bolton Iron Man triathlon competition and qualifying to represent Great Britain in my Age Group. I now work as Swimming Instructor for Nuffield Health, hoping to inspire the next generation in their swimming and overall fitness goals.
