Meet Helen

Hello!

All four of my children, now grown up, have been to Egerton Nursery and Out of School Club – a relationship of 25 years. For all of them ‘Club ‘was always the highlight of their day and I was never allowed to pick them up early! In 1998, I was one of the original group of parent volunteers involved in securing the lottery funding for the building and have been involved ever since. It is a pleasure to be part of Egerton Nursery and Out of School Club and to continue to be able to give something back to the organisation which helped my own children grow and flourish.

I have over 25 years experience of working in the NHS in strategic roles with special interests in change, leadership, developing people and improving how services operate.  As a senior manager within the public sector, I have experience of working in a politically sensitive context and I understand just how important strong governance and clear accountability is for any decision. I am always an optimist and believe that much can be achieved through being fair, building good relationships, and encouraging others to do the same.
